Aero is looking for a versatile Machinistwith a passion for precision and craftsmanship with high mechanical aptitude with strong precision and accuracy.

Aero as a Machinist and become part of a team dedicated to excellence in aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul.
Shift requirement: Day shift M-F.
This position may require flexibility to work multiple shifts as needed to support business demands.
No regular shift rotation and no overnights.
What youll do: Operate manual and CNC to machine components to exact specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, templates, and specification manuals to plan machining operations.
Calculate dimensions and tolerances, lay out workpieces, and verify accuracy using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-train in complementary skills to support production requirements.
Follow all safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or practices immediately.
Adhere to company policies, including proactive risk management and Just Culture principles.
What skills youll need: Completion of at least Level 1 Machining from a recognized machinist apprenticeship program or equivalent education and training.
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical specifications.
Practical experience in using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience in manual machines such as mills, lathes, CNC etc.
Red Seal Machinist certification is preferred.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, metallurgy, and production management systems.
