Job Summary: The Solution Architect - CRM (Intermediate) is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions primarily focused on IBM Maximo applications within a complex technological environment.

This role involves providing technical architecture, strategy, and leadership for enterprise-wide cloud transformations and Maximo system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business processes and IT strategies.

The architect acts as a subject matter expert supporting divisional implementations and ongoing system sustainability.

Responsibilities: Develop work management technical strategy, architecture, frameworks, and key design decision documents applicable across divisional processes.

Manage configuration and layout of enterprise architecture and infrastructure.

Recommend procedural changes to optimize operational efficiency.

Participate in root cause analysis reviews as needed.

Promote shared infrastructure and technical designs to reduce costs and improve information flow.

Guide development of legacy data conversion and migration strategies, including functional specifications and data mapping.

Support functional test case development, application testing, and functional unit testing.

Serve as Maximo Technical Subject Matter Expert to support divisional implementations and ensure project success.

Verify and validate vendor solutions to ensure optimal implementation quality.

Assist business units in transitioning to production support and ongoing system sustainability.

Prepare and execute various technical tests and analyze results to assure software quality.

Track and report on problems, defects, and issues within large projects.

Required Skills & Certifications: 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development,



systems engineering, or similar roles with leadership experience.

Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Math, or equivalent experience.

Extensive experience with IBM Maximo suite of applications, including versions 7.6, 7.6.1.2, MAS 9.1, and working knowledge of Maximo 9.1.

Proficiency across all Maximo modules: Work Order Management, Asset Management, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, Configuration, Scripting, Report Development, and system interfacing.

Experience leading enterprise-wide cloud transformations with knowledge of Cloud adoption, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), software-defined infrastructure, and both private and public cloud systems.

Strong interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience in a technical advisory or consulting role, preferably within the utility industry.

Strong process management and risk control capabilities.

Preferred Skills & Certifications: Maximo super-user expertise.

Experience with asset management application development and ERP system integration.

Experience with stakeholder communication methodologies to share features, benefits, and analyses.

Experience preparing and executing comprehensive test plans, including unit, functional, integration, regression, penetration, performance, and user acceptance testing.

Public sector experience.

Special Considerations: Must be comfortable communicating at all organizational levels including business partners, leadership, and vendors.

Role requires strong teamwork, planning, and organizational skills.

Hybrid work setting with 3 days required in office.
