Our client is an established company in the food manufacturing industry with operations across multiple locations. They are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and advance its information technology function. This role is responsible for the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of technology infrastructure, systems, and services that support business operations. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise, leadership, and effective communication skills to drive operational excellence, security, innovation, and team performance.

Location: Langley, BC
Work Arrangement: Fully in-office
Expected Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skillset

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute technology strategies aligned with organizational goals and long-term business objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure, enterprise systems, applications, and cybersecurity.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of technology professionals, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify technology requirements and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, security, and integrity of technology systems, networks, and data.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and consultants, including contract negotiations and performance management.
- Develop, manage, and monitor the IT budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.




- Establish and maintain technology policies, standards, and best practices to support operational and security objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance on technology investments, initiatives, and roadmap planning.

Qualifications & Skills

- Strong technical expertise in enterprise IT environments, including infrastructure, applications, systems administration, and security.
- Experience with technologies such as programming languages, collaboration platforms, virtualization solutions, scripting and automation tools, and enterprise messaging systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Robust analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with experience managing and resolving complex technical issues.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and technology governance best practices.
- Strong organizational, budgeting, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to balance operational priorities with long-term technology initiatives and business needs.
