Position Summary
Assistants will work as a team for 8-10 hours/week in the Maker Space/IMP Labs facilitating the community hours programming, assisting students with projects and use of equipment,
as well as supporting the CTCH & DES Department Head with various recruitment initiatives (i.e. workshops). Assistants will be tasked with updating and maintaining equipment, running the spaces according to established policies, and additional tasks related to the maker space and imp labs assigned by the Department Head or designate.
Position Requirements
- 3rd/4th year CTCH & DES student, MA, MFA in CTCH or equivalent;
- Excellent communication skills and robust knowledge of equipment in maker space and/or imp labs;
- Preference given to applicants registered in CTCH & DES or MAP Interdisc program.
