Job Title: Data Engineer (IICS)

Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2-4 Days WFO)

Duration: 06-12 Months

Hourly Pay Rate: 53 CAD
Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL development, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling. This role is crucial for designing and implementing data integration solutions that support our business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven hands-on experience as an ETL Developer with a strong focus on Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Deep understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing principles, and dimensional modeling.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex data integration issues.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience working with Oracle databases, including PLSQL scripting and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse,



including SnowSQL and best practices for loading data into Snowflake.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Architect, build, and deploy end-to-end data integration solutions and ETL pipelines using IICS (Data Integration, Application Integration).
- Create complex mappings, tasks, and workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various heterogeneous sources into target data warehouses and data lakes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize IICS mappings and database queries to ensure high performance, reliability, and data quality.
- Work with business users to gather data requirements and translate them into technical ETL specifications.
- Provide operational support, perform debugging, and resolve data-related issues or job failures in a timely manner.
- Maintain transparent documentation of data integration architecture, processes, and deployment strategies.
