Job Description:

Job Summary
This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
- Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

Qualifications:

- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Ability to read and memorize postal codes




- Availability to work adaptable shift hours, up to 5 days per week
- Warehouse experience - Preferred

SHIFT

- Monday to Friday - 5 days a week

- 4:30 PM to 7:30PM (approx.)

- Flexibility with start and finish times required – when we are busy hours will vary.

COMPENSATION

- $17.65 per hour to start

- Guaranteed wage progression per Union Teamsters Collective Agreement

- Health, dental, and vision care benefits after one year

- Tuition reimbursement up to $1500 per semester

- Paid weekly - every Friday

EXPENSES

- Union dues once a month

- Union initiation fee deducted after 90 working days
