The CMH Project Coordinator supports the current state optimization and implementation of a large-scale, multi-phase expansion of Complex Malignant Hematology services, including the establishment of a full-service Acute Leukemia Program. This work is foundational to advancing RVH's Cancer Program Strategic Plan and represents a significant clinical and system transformation focused on improving access to specialized, high-acuity cancer care closer to home. The project involves multiple concurrent and highly interdependent streams of work, including program design, quality and safety framework development, workforce and recruitment planning, infrastructure and space planning, education and training development, hospital readiness, and alignment with Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario) standards and accreditation requirements. The end goal is to establish RVH as a full-service Acute Leukemia site with the capability to deliver comprehensive, high-quality, and standardized care within an integrated regional and provincial model, reducing the need for patients to travel outside the region while ensuring care is delivered safely and consistently.

What You Will Do

- Lead Complex Project Coordination and Execution as the Subject Matter Expert
- Coordinate the delivery of large-scale, high-impact CMH and Acute Leukemia initiatives
- Work in partnership with the HRCC Leadership team.
- Serve as the project's content expert within their clinical, operational, technical, or business area.
- Advise the Project Management Lead on requirements, workflows, regulatory considerations, risks, and best practices.
- Validate assumptions and ensure proposed solutions align with operational realities.
- Act as a liaison between the project team and operational areas.
- Contribute to project planning, solution design, workflow development, testing, validation, and implementation activities.

Advance Strategic Plan Execution




- Translate the RVH Cancer Program Strategic Plan into actionable and measurable initiatives
- Support prioritization, sequencing, and alignment of work across interconnected portfolios
- Contribute to business case development, funding strategies, and sustainability planning
- Support the advancement of regional and system-level program integration

Drive Quality Improvement and Program Development
- Coordinate the design, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives
- Support development of standardized models of care aligned with Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario)
- Lead program readiness activities including workflow design, policy development, and implementation planning
- Monitor and report on performance metrics to support continuous improvement

Enable Change and System Integration
- Support implementation of complex change management strategies across clinical and operational teams
- Facilitate engagement sessions, working groups, and interdisciplinary collaboration forums
- Develop communication approaches that support adoption, alignment, and sustained change
- Coordinate integration of new processes within existing systems and care delivery models

Build Relationships and Partnerships
- Establish strong relationships with leaders, physicians, staff, and external partners
- Collaborate closely with Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario) and regional cancer programs
- Demonstrate advanced relationship management, consultation, and facilitation skills to drive shared outcomes

Support Coaching and Capacity Building
- Provide guidance and support to leaders and teams implementing program initiatives
- Support development of organizational capacity in project management, quality improvement, and change leadership
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning

Requirements

Education and Experience

- Undergraduate degree in business, strategy, leadership or a related field
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience leading or coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, project management, and change management

Assets

- Formal change management training or certification
- Experience in oncology, hematology,



or regional health system planning
- Familiarity with Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario) standards and frameworks
- Experience in Public Speaking with comfort
