Key Responsibilities
- Instructional responsibilities include classroom, lab and field trip instruction, lecture and lab preparation and marking.
- The ideal candidate would have instructional and/or industrial expertise in the field of wildlife biology and wildlife conservation.
- Familiarity with the species at risk, common wildlife techniques, tools and protocols utilized for wildlife conservation and management in Western Canada is essential.
- Demonstrate a strong industry connection to ensure the program maintains relevancy to current industry practices.
Job Requirements
- Experience with Hydrology and water resources in Alberta along with a solid background in Project management.
- A prospective candidate would have a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree or a PhD in Biology, Wildlife management or a closely related discipline.
- Candidates close to completion of a MSc. or PhD would also be considered.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with a professional organization such as the AIA or ASPB would be an asset.
Additional Information
This is a Sessional Full-Time Faculty position at the Vermilion Campus commencing August 2026. The salary range for this position is $80,886 to $107,809 per year. This includes a generous benefit package.
