El Tambache Crafts is seeking a motivated and reliable Sales Representative & Event Assistant to join our small, family-run business. Operating for over 36 years, we specialize in importing unique handcrafted goods and selling them at major cultural events and markets across Ontario. This is a part-time, flexible, and cash-paid position, ideal for someone who enjoys travel, sales, and interacting with customers in vibrant event settings.

Responsibilities

- Drive to and from events across Ontario (G license required; company vehicle provided when necessary)
- Set up and tear down booths, including loading/unloading product into vans
- Handle cash sales and maintain accurate records
- Engage with customers, explain product stories, and maintain strong client relationships
- Travel and stay overnight for multi-day events (accommodation and travel expenses covered)
- Be available for weekend work and occasional last-minute event bookings
- Represent El Tambache Crafts with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong work ethic

Requirements





- Valid Ontario G driver’s license and ability to drive company van
- Experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a fast-paced retail or vendor setting
- Physically able to lift and move merchandise during setup and takedown
- Excellent verbal communication skills; Spanish language is a plus
- Friendly, adaptable, and willing to be on call for weekend events
- Organized and dependable with attention to detail

- Events include major Christmas markets in Toronto, Ottawa, London, and Kitchener, as well as summer festivals and multi-day shows
- Travel, hotel, and parking costs are covered when applicable
- This is a part-time, cash-paid position with weekend availability required
