Lead Electrical Engineer – (Buildings plus)

My client’s electrical team is looking for a Lead, someone who has a network of work and able to continue to grow it. This team is unique in that they have a diverse background, which allows them to be involved in a wide range of markets.They love to take on current challenges in varying regions with vast construction types.

Education: Electrical Engineering degree

Responsibilities:

- Lead and shape projects across various sectors, including commercial, institutional, educational and some industrial. You will play a pivotal role in mentoring a team of electrical engineers, guiding them through projects, while also fostering client relationships.
- Oversee or directly contribute to the electrical design of buildings including commercial, institutional, educational, sports & recreation, healthcare, airports, transportation, and industrial.
- Work with the project team from conceptual & preliminary stages of design through to completion
- Ensure compliance to the quality assurance and control program
- Directly engage with clients to understand project needs and maintain strong business relationships.




- Participate in the business development activities through the Metro Vancouver area.
- Champion a culture of client service excellence and team collaboration.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience directly related in electrical engineering building services design
- A registered P.Eng. with APEGGA, or ability to
- Self-motivation and strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrate a commitment to client service that is second to none.
- Commercial, institutional, civic, industrial etc.

This position is located in Calgary, AB Canada and can be a shareholder type role.
