Senior Project Manager

Bluelime is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of various utility infrastructure projects across Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project execution from initiation through completion, including project and construction management, while providing oversight and governance of engineering, design, procurement, and construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations.

The successful candidate will have:

- Strong working knowledge of the distribution industry and electric utilities.
- Strong working knowledge of the design, construction, and upgrade of medium- and low-voltage distribution systems.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, creative problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with diverse teams of professionals, including project managers, construction managers, project controls professionals, procurement professionals, environmental specialists, engineering consultants, owner's engineers, and safety professionals.
- Proven experience managing large, complex utility infrastructure projects across multiple locations.
- Experience and recognition as a technical expert in their field.
- Ability to effectively communicate expectations and requirements with clients,



stakeholders, contractors, and project teams.
- Ability to apply technical expertise and industry knowledge to solve business challenges while mentoring and coaching team members.
- A proven track record of building client relationships, expanding existing business opportunities, identifying new opportunities, and supporting recruitment and retention initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 12+ years of relevant experience managing utility infrastructure projects, including electrical distribution and/or distributed energy resources.
- Demonstrated experience successfully delivering complex projects and programs with a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, scope, and budget.
- Project and client management experience overseeing multiple projects of significant scope and complexity.
- Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset.
- Master's degree in a technical or business discipline is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience working within utility capital programs and/or Integrated System Planning (ISP) environments is considered an asset.
