Alexander Willowridge LP is growing, and we are looking to add great people to our team! We are currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator with Class 1 license to join our team. We offer a great work atmosphere, and competitive wages.

Alexander Willowridge LP takes a customer service team driven approach to its site services delivery. With that, all team members, regardless of area of expertise or years of experience are expected to help with providing a complete site services solution for our clients.

Location: Ryley, AB.

Schedule: 10 days on and 4 days off, working 6am – 430pm (10 hour shifts, OT after 8 hours worked)

Initially, the role will involve operating a shunt truck within the yard, loading flat-deck trailers with pipes, spools, and steel, and properly strapping and securing loads for shipment to site. As the position develops, it may move to be directly on site in Fort Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:

- Participating in team safe work planning and execution strategies by utilizing our library of industry leading safe work practices, policies, and procedures
- Material relocation
- Prepares construction sites for trailer and complexes
- Road maintenance, snow removal and winter site operations




- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment

Experience:

- Must have minimum 5 years experience operating multiple pieces of equipment in a live plant environment
- Willingness and ability to switch between multiple pieces of equipment when required
- Experience working in congested areas and ability to follow spotters direction
- Safely loading and strapping materials such as pipe, steel and spools
- Experience safely operating a shunt truck within a large laydown yard
- Clean safety record
- Self motivated and dependable with the ability to effectively work without direct supervision.
