Matrix HR is recruiting experienced Journeyperson level Carpenters for various clients and construction sites located all around the city of Calgary AB.

Pay Rate: $34/hr

Different scopes of Work:

- Performs selective demolition and removal of waste.
- Framing (wood and Steel)
- Back Framing
- Formwork
- Finishing and Rough Carpentry
- Operates hand and power tools.
- Works closely with other members of the Carpentry team.
- Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

- Must be willing to perform a wide variety of tasks with varying physical requirements from lifting, climbing ladders, and being on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work at height and in confined spaces.
- Extended outdoor activity; exposure to varied weather conditions.

Qualifications:

- Robust verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior carpentry work




- Versatile in all types of general carpentry.
- Proficient with the safe operation of carpentry tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
- Must be able to work safely with other workers and abide by our client's safety manual.

Requirements:

- Relevant construction experience, residential or commercial.
- Valid Driver's Licence (Asset)
- Tool Pouch.
- Full PPE.
- AWP preferred
- Fall Protection Preferred
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $34.00 per hour
