We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support key financial operations for a contract opportunity based in Toronto, Ontario. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, completing month-end reconciliations, and assisting with financial statement preparation in a hands-on, in-office environment four days per week. The successful candidate will bring strong attention to detail, sound accounting knowledge, and the ability to work confidently with financial systems and high-volume data.

Responsibilities:

- Complete month-end account and bank reconciliations to help ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Enter and maintain financial data in accounting systems with a high degree of precision and consistency.
- Support the preparation and review of financial statements by organizing records and validating account balances.
- Process invoices and assist with accounts payable activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Contribute to payroll-related accounting tasks and help verify supporting documentation where required.
- Use Excel and Salesforce to track, analyze, and update financial information for reporting purposes.
- Work with accounting and ERP platforms to manage daily transactional activity and maintain complete records.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a detail-focused business environment.
- Strong background in reconciliations, including monthly bank and account balancing activities.
- Practical experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial data entry.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable, invoicing, payroll support,



and core accounting functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for organizing data, reviewing transactions, and preparing reports.
- Experience using platforms such as Salesforce, Concur, ADP, or comparable financial systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Toronto, Ontario, four days per week for approximately 32 to 36 hours from Monday to Thursday.
