Overview
We are seeking new coaches in the TreeHouse, which is the designated youth climbing space at BoulderHouse Langford!

TreeHouse Coaches act as the face of the TreeHouse to help families with drop-in climbing and birthday parties, while also working with kids ages 3-12 (sometimes as old as 17!) to teach introductory to intermediate bouldering skills. Coaches may also work alongside a Junior Coach to help them develop skills in teaching and leadership.

Experience and requirements

- 1+ year(s) working with kids, accompanied by a passion for teaching
- 1+ year(s) of climbing experience, accompanied by a passion for the sport
- Experience coaching climbing or working in a climbing gym is an asset, but not necessary.
- Must be at least 19 years old as of September 12th, 2026

Expected Hours

We are currently looking to fill shifts on Sundays from 9:00am-1:00pm beginning in September, 2026. Weeknight availability is also an asset!

Coaches are expected to commit to the same schedule from September to December.

Job Type: Part time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
