City Bread – Full Time – Driver Sales Representative

The Driver Sales Representative position is a key piece to the success of City Bread within the food service and retail channel. This position maximizes sales of City Bread products at various accounts throughout Winnipeg, by providing excellent customer service through effective planning, selling, and ordering. This role works directly with chefs and bakery/store management to ensure a high level of sales and service is provided.

Job Description

-Sort, load, and deliver baked goods products within a designated area, to food service and large retail accounts

-Merchandise and rotate City Bread stock on store shelving, racks, and other displays

-Utilize City Bread or store provided point of sale to promote products and price clarity

-Keep back room organized; this includes excess stock, empty trays, and product returns

-Track inventory levels at assigned accounts, and use this to write accurate next day product orders

-Build a solid partnership with restaurant and store staff

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:

-Prior experience driving a 5-ton truck is preferred, but not mandatory





-Valid class 5 drivers license with a clean driver abstract

-Prior retail or merchandising experience, handling consumer packaged goods is an asset

-Ability to work solo, with minimal supervision

-Must be able to perform frequent physical activity; consistent kneeling, squatting, and reaching

-Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50lbs using a wheeler or a dolly

-High School diploma (or equivalent) preferred, and or current students

Hours & Availability

-Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts - start time 3-4 AM

-Starting at $50,000/annual salary, with an opportunity to grow well beyond that
