Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Food and Beverage Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct for timely delivery
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through excellent customer service skills
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when necessary,



supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred ,enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Experience with cashiering, serving, or hospitality roles is highly desirable
- Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
