Medical Office Assistant (MOA) — ENT/Otolaryngology Clinic

Mission Surgery, a growing ENT and otolaryngology practice with three specialist surgeons based in the Holy Cross building in Mission, is looking for a Medical Office Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is sharp, motivated, and looking for a long-term role with room to grow alongside a busy, expanding practice.

Start Date: Mid-September 2026
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (some work-from-home flexibility once established)
Location: Mission, Calgary, AB

What You'll Do

- Book and coordinate surgical procedures
- Schedule clinic appointments and call patients
- Cover front desk duties as needed
- Support the physicians with general clinical office tasks
- Train alongside our established MOA, who will guide you through all duties and workflows

Compensation & Perks

- $25/hour to start, with regular pay increases over time
- Opportunity for overtime pay for after-hours work, if desired

- 4% guaranteed vacation pay (2 weeks),



with opportunities for additional unpaid time off (coordinated to ensure clinic coverage)
- No work required on statutory holidays or during the Christmas–New Year's period (paid up to 4% accrual or unpaid, based on preference)

What We're Looking For

- MOA certificate/diploma (or equivalent training) preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Friendly, professional phone and in-person manner with patients
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to build a long-term career in medical administration
- Prior clinic/surgical booking experience an asset but not required
