Music Instructor/Educator Position Overview

Russell Music Academy is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Music Instructor to deliver quality guitar and piano instruction to students of all ages. This role involves teaching lessons at multiple locations, including our partner elementary schools during the day and at our Music Academy in the evenings.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide engaging and effective one-on-one and/or group lessons in guitar and piano.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school administrators.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in teaching both guitar and piano.
- Availability: Must be available for teaching shifts during daytime hours (in-school programs), evening hours (academy), or a combination of both.
- Language Skills (Ideal):



Professional working proficiency in French and English (Bilingual) is highly desirable, though not strictly required.
- Transportation: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation, as teaching locations are situated in rural towns east of Ottawa with no access to public transit.
- Security: Successful candidates must provide a clean Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) prior to the start of employment.
