Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining flat roofing and construction, with a strong understanding of various roofing materials and techniques. This role involves working on commercial properties to install, repair, and maintain roofs. The Roofer will be responsible for ensuring that roofs are watertight, durable, and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Install roofing systems using a variety of materials including SBS, EPDM, TPO, and PVC.
- Repair damaged roofs by replacing or patching materials as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on roofs to extend their lifespan and prevent leaks.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely to complete roofing tasks efficiently.
- Apply caulking to seal joints and seams for waterproofing purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.




- Assist in heavy lifting of materials during installation and repair processes.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a related field such as carpentry or maintenance person services.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications.
- Proficient in using hand tools and equipment relevant to roofing tasks.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights.
- Robust attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $37.00-$42.00 per hour

Experience:

- Journeyman Roofing: 5 years (preferred)
