Job Summary
We are seeking a Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing & Service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, welding, machining, and mechanical assembly, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various metals, and utilizing a range of tools and machinery to produce high-quality metal components in accordance with industry standards. Candidates should possess experience working in various industrial locations, and be familiar with safety protocols related to welding and fabrication processes. Minimum 2 - 3 years experience required.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
- Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, SMAW and FCAW to join or cut metal parts.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal components.
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Handle metal fabrication including cutting, bending, and forming according to specifications.
- Using conventional mills, lathes, and various machine tools to cut and shape components to schematic specifications
- Conduct pipe threading, assembly of ductwork, and rigging as needed for project completion.




- Execute and assist mobile welding and basic millwrighting tasks
- Follow safety protocols on sites or manufacturing floors, including crane operation, manlifts, scissor lifts, and forklift handling when necessary.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to fabrication equipment or processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety regulations.

Experience

- Proven experience at site environments or manufacturing facilities involving metal fabrication.
- Hands-on experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMA welding.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for fabrication projects.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, pipe threading, ductwork installation, and assembly procedures.
- Ability to operate machinery such as machining tools, forklifts, manlifts, and scissor lifts.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Strong communication skills, time management, and reliability is a must.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
