We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment for young children from 1- 5 years old.
Responsibilities:
- implement lesson plans that align with the Academics Prekindergarten YVR curriculum
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Conduct educational activities that promote physical, social, and intellectual development
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress
- Utilize computer programs for educational purposes
- Maintain accurate student records
Skills:
- Proficiency in computer operation for educational purposes
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to educate and engage young children effectively
- Organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency, especially in French, is desirable
