Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Help with food handling procedures to ensure safe storage, portioning, and presentation of ingredients and finished dishes
- Support serving staff by preparing orders for delivery or table service as needed
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling with accuracy




- Uphold food safety standards and assist in inventory management to ensure ingredients are stocked appropriately

Skills

- Previous Indian food service experience, including kitchen work or restaurant roles, is highly valued
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests and team members
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety protocols
- Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or similar for effective order processing
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and support guest services
- Basic cleaning skills to uphold hygiene standards in all areas of the kitchen and dining space
