Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations within our dynamic food service environment. Duties

- Supervise and coordinate team members during shifts, ensuring smooth operation of the restaurant or food service area
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and serving processes to maintain quality standards
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper food handling and storage
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Assist with interviewing and onboarding current staff members to build a strong team




- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and hospitality standards
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff
- Support kitchen operations, including food preparation and hospitality services

Qualifications

- Proven supervising or team management experience within the food service or restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members effectively
- Previous restaurant management or leadership experience preferred
- Skilled in cash handling, food handling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
