Feed Halton plays a critical role in strengthening the regional food security network, ensuring that food banks and community food programs have reliable access to the food and resources they need to serve individuals and families across Halton.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact opportunity for a relationship-driven fundraising leader who wants to help shape and grow Feed Halton’s revenue strategy, deepen community partnerships, and build a sustainable base of support for regional food security.

Feed Halton is seeking a strategic and community-minded Fund Developer to lead and grow our fundraising efforts. This is a unique opportunity to build a modern, high-impact fundraising program, deepening and building relationships with donors, partners, and the community to advance food security. This role will be both strategic and hands-on fund development, responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive development program, including major gifts, community giving, campaigns, and donor stewardship.

Reporting to the Executive Director, this position plays a key role in growing revenue, expanding community partnerships and supporting organizational sustainability. The position is accountable for achieving annual fundraising revenue targets, sponsorship objectives, grant funding goals and strategic partnership outcomes.

What You Will Do

· Develop and implement annual and multi-year fundraising strategies.

· Cultivate, solicit and steward donors, sponsors and funding partners.

· Research, write and manage grant applications and reporting requirements.

· Secure corporate sponsorships and community partnerships.





· Lead fundraising campaigns, donor engagement activities and events.

· Maintain fundraising systems, donor records and performance reporting.

· Develop systems, processes, and tools to support sustainable fundraising growth

Qualifications

· Post-secondary education, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in fundraising, nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business or a related field.

· 5+ years of progressive experience in fundraising, philanthropy, sponsorships, donor relations, grant development or business development.

· Demonstrated success securing funding through grants, sponsorships, donor cultivation and partnerships.

· Excellent communication, relationship-building and presentation skills.

· Experience with CRM and donor management platforms.

· Full-time position, 37.5 hours/week, with some evening and weekend work.

· Hybrid work solution with a minimum of three days in the office

· Three weeks’ vacation.

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
