Job Duties
- Preparing, providing, maintaining, assembling equipment for simulations and supplies for learning activities at Saskatchewan Polytechnic Regina Campus.
- Inventory Management.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
- Maintain Dispensary, Sterilization area, X-ray Rooms and Troubleshoot Clinic/Lab Technology.
- Provide technical and analytical skills to maintain equipment when service Technician not available.
- Management of corporate credit card.
- Perform Dental Assisting and Dental Reception duties to help students.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
- Graduate of a Dental Assisting Certificate Program.
- Four (4) years recent and relevant experience in a dental office utilizing current dental assisting principles, procedures and techniques.
- Registered with the Saskatchewan Dental Assistants’ Association and National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
- Current CPR level C Certification.
- Training or experience in the use of MS Office suite, Dexis, and/or Dentrix Dental software.
- Advanced knowledge of dental products, equipment, and procedures.
- Effective communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills including the ability to take initiative, multi-task, and prioritize tasks with minimal direction/supervision.
- Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing setting.
- Demonstrates valuing diversity.
