Responsibilities

- Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using appropriate cleaning techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist with organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Support food preparation activities by handling basic cleaning tasks in the kitchen area.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards across the facility.




- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely dishwashing during busy service periods.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain a tidy workspace.

Skills

- Solid knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of food preparation and cooking processes is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality service.
