Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring accurate medication management.

Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and labeling prescriptions accurately
- Manage medication inventory and ensure proper storage conditions
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering medication guidance under supervision
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness in accordance with medical orders
- Maintain detailed records of medication dispensation and patient interactions
- Skills
- Previous community pharmacy or pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable
- Filware experience an asset
- Compounding experience an asset

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

- Pharmacy assistant/technician: 1 year (required)
