Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and safety policies tailored to construction activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, enforce safety standards, and promote best practices among construction teams.
- Lead safety training sessions for workers and management to ensure understanding of safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with construction management to plan safety measures during project phases and coordinate risk assessments.
- Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
- Stay current with local, state,



and federal safety regulations related to construction operations and ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction environments with a strong understanding of construction processes and site operations.
- Familiarity with construction management software for tracking safety metrics, inspections, and reporting.
- Familiarity with racking safety, elevated work platforms, conveyor belts installation is preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards or equivalent regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams, report findings, and liaise with regulatory bodies.
- Ability to identify hazards proactively and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Construction certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour or equivalent are highly desirable.
