JCI is an industry leader providing filtration and separation solutions for the oil and gas, environmental, mining, industrial, and water treatment industries. We are seeking an experienced Drafter to join our team, based out of our Head Office and Manufacturing Facility in Calgary, AB. The successful individual will display a positive attitude, attention to details, and provide amazing customer service to interdepartmental peers relying on them. The successful candidate should have the following:

- 5-10 years of design drafting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication setting. Oil & Gas experience considered an asset.
- A design and drafting diploma or equivalent education.
- Deep understanding of 3D parametric modeling tools, preferably Autodesk Inventor (or equivalent experience such as SolidWorks, Creole, Plant 3D etc).
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of competing priorities efficiently.
- A supportive team player willing to learn, grow, and adjust as needed.
- Ability to interpret isometric drawings, Piping and Instrumentation diagrams, and Structural drawings.




- Experience with plant/piping layout software and ISO drawing generation.
- Experience generating detailed skid fabrication drawings.

Additional skills that would be considered exceptional assets include:

- Confidence in P&ID; development and generating package layouts from P&ID;’s.
- Understanding of Industry regulatory codes and standards.
- An understanding of iLogic and VB.NET8 programing for drafting software ad-ins.
- Vessel fabrications drafting experience.
- Understanding of the drafting requirements for a successful ERP rollout.
- Provide technical expertise on design/drafting standards.

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
