**Job Title: General Production Worker**

**Job Description**

The General Production Worker supports manufacturing operations by packaging pump products and components, preparing orders for shipment, assisting with painting and testing processes, and moving materials between departments.

This role involves a variety of general labour tasks within the plant to ensure products meet quality standards and production goals, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Package finished pump products and components in accordance with established company standards and quality requirements.
+ Prepare products for shipment, including accurate labeling, wrapping, and palletizing to ensure safe and efficient transport.
+ Assist with painting operations by performing surface preparation, masking, and careful handling of painted parts.
+ Support product testing procedures to help verify that pumps meet specified quality and performance standards.
+ Move materials and products between departments as needed to maintain workflow and production schedules.
+ Perform general labour duties across various areas of the plant to support production and team objectives.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following housekeeping standards and safety guidelines.
+ Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.
+ Complete other duties as assigned to support overall production needs and operational efficiency.

**Essential Skills**

+ At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
+ Hands-on production experience, including assembly and packing tasks.
+ Ability to perform basic inspection and testing activities on products.
+ Forklift experience with counterbalance and reach truck.
+ Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
+ Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
+ Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and follow instructions.
+ Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate packaging, labeling, and quality standards.

**Work Environment**

This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment on a day shift schedule, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Work is hands-on and physically active, involving standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the facility.





You will work around production equipment, hand tools, and forklifts such as counterbalance and reach trucks.

The environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety procedures, with a focus on maintaining a safe and efficient workspace during regular weekday hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, ON.

**Pay and Perks**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
