**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description**
Join our dynamic team in a warehouse that carries a full range of top-quality construction supplies.

As a warehouse worker, you will start as a general laborer with the opportunity to transition into a lead hand role after six months.

**Responsibilities**

+ Pick orders for wholesale and retail customers.
+ Perform shipping and receiving duties.
+ Record all orders and shipments on paper.
+ Enter information into the computer system.
+ Use radio systems to communicate effectively.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in shipping and receiving.
+ Proficiency in order picking.
+ Ability to load and unload trucks.
+ Minimum of 6 months of experience in a warehouse or other general laborer role.
+ Proficient communication in English, both verbally and in writing.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Over one year of warehouse experience.
+ STWB certification.
+ 6+ months of forklift experience is a plus.
+ Leadership skills and experience.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Ability to learn quickly.
+ Team-oriented mindset.
+ Excellent time management skills.

**Work Environment**
Work inside a warehouse with racking and somewhat temperature-controlled conditions.

The facility includes a yard for material storage and a team of eight.

Enjoy flexible break and lunch times that accommodate the daily workload.

The day shift runs Monday to Friday for 8.5 hours, with flexible start times between 5 am and 8 am, and unpaid lunch breaks.

Shift options include 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnaby, BC.

**Pay and Benefits**




The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
