**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description**
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for running your own line, specifically operating slitting machines.
You will handle coils of rolled steel, set up the machine with knives and clearances, and ensure the finished product is of high quality.
Safety is paramount, as the role involves lifting up to 25 lbs and handling sharp cut steel.
Additionally, you may be required to operate a forklift, an overhead crane, and package products for shipping.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate slitting machines to process rolled steel.
+ Set up machine knives and clearances for optimal production.
+ Ensure high-quality output of finished products.
+ Safely handle and lift materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
+ Operate a forklift and overhead crane as needed.
+ Package products efficiently for shipping.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
+ 2+ years of machine operating experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Slitting experience.
+ Rolled steel experience.
+ Forklift experience.
+ Overhead crane experience.
