We're looking for a motivated **Foreman** to join our team on a long-term commercial tenant improvement project in Surrey.

In this role, you'll work closely with the Project Manager to oversee daily operations, coordinate subcontractors, lead a small crew, and contribute directly to on-site construction activities.

**What You'll Do**

**Site Leadership & Coordination**

+ Partner with the Project Manager to plan and execute daily site activities.
+ Coordinate subcontractors and schedule work to maintain project momentum.
+ Lead and supervise crews of approximately 2 to 6 workers.
+ Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to crew members.
+ Maintain project schedules by organizing work sequences and adjusting priorities as required.
+ Communicate effectively with clients, inspectors, trades, and stakeholders.

**Project Administration**

+ Track daily manpower, hours worked, and key site activities.
+ Complete daily reports and project documentation using Procore.
+ Maintain accurate records and support overall project organization.
+ Review project drawings and specifications to support quality execution.

**Hands-On Construction Work**

+ Actively participate in construction activities while leading the team.
+ Perform demolition, framing, back framing, carpentry, and general labour tasks.
+ Safely operate power tools and construction equipment.
+ Support commercial tenant improvement and renovation projects.

**Safety & Site Management**

+ Promote and enforce safe work practices.
+ Ensure site cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards.
+ Open and secure the site daily.
+ Support first aid requirements and safety compliance activities.

**What You Bring**

**Required Qualifications**

+ Minimum **2+ years of experience** as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or similar construction leadership role.
+ Experience working on commercial construction, renovation, or tenant improvement projects.
+ Ability and willingness to work on the tools while supervising crews.
+ **Level 1 First Aid Certification** .
+ Ability to pass a national background check.
+ Reliable vehicle and ability to travel between job sites.
+ Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
+ Experience coordinating crews, schedules, and subcontractors.
+ Solid communication and organizational skills.
+ Positive attitude with a proactive, solution-focused approach.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience managing projects valued at **$500,000+** .
+ Procore experience, including daily reports and documentation.
+ Red Seal Carpenter or related trade certification.




+ Strong blueprint, drawing, and specification-reading skills.
+ Experience with wood-frame construction.
+ background in tenant improvement, classroom renovations, or interior commercial renovations.
+ Additional first aid training beyond Level 1.

**Work Environment**

This is a site-based position requiring regular work on active construction projects throughout the Lower Mainland.

Projects may include commercial tenant improvements, classroom renovations, framing work, concrete pad installations, and other carpentry-related construction activities.

Work is performed indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions.

Typical schedules range from approximately **7:30 AM to 4:00 PM** or **10:00 AM to 6:00 PM** , depending on project requirements.

The successful candidate will be comfortable performing physically demanding work while maintaining a professional, client-facing presence on site.
