Our client is looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to join their team. This role involves safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bobcats, mini-excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, and rock trucks safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Keep machines clean and conduct minor maintenance tasks.




- Secure all equipment properly after use.
- Follow company safety procedures and protocols.
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license.
- 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Strong understanding of equipment safety protocols.
- Able to operate machinery for extended periods.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Nanaimo, BC.
