Position: Applied AI Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Applied AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building production-grade AI applications, working with Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning frameworks, data pipelines, and cloud-based AI platforms.

This role requires a highly skilled engineer who can bridge the gap between AI research and real-world implementation by developing scalable, reliable, and impactful AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions that address business and technical challenges.
- Build and integrate AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Machine Learning techniques.
- Develop AI-powered workflows, automation solutions, intelligent agents, and decision-support systems.
- Work with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to translate AI concepts into production-ready applications.
- Fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize machine learning and LLM-based models.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases and enterprise data sources.
- Develop scalable AI services and APIs using up-to-date software engineering practices.
- Build data pipelines for AI model training, evaluation, and inference.
- Conduct model performance analysis, testing, and continuous improvement.




- Ensure AI solutions meet requirements around scalability, security, reliability, and responsible AI practices.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, or applied AI development.
- Strong experience building and deploying AI/ML applications in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI application development.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with modern software development practices.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience working with LLM platforms and APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of NLP concepts, embeddings, prompt engineering, and model evaluation.
- Experience implementing RAG architectures using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar tools.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Chroma, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, APIs, microservices,



and system design.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building AI agents and autonomous workflows.
- Experience with MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and model deployment frameworks.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.
- Knowledge of data engineering concepts and distributed systems.
- Experience working with enterprise AI adoption and digital transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices.

Pay: $62,270.06-$204,207.69 per year
