We are looking for an experienced Suit Specialist & Alteration Tailor to join our team in Edmonton.

The ideal candidate must have robust experience in men’s suit alterations, along with the ability to handle general everyday clothing alterations and full garment stitching.

Responsibilities

- Men’s suit alterations, including jackets, trousers and vests
- Jacket fitting and alterations – sleeves, sides, waist, length and overall fit
- Trouser alterations – waist, seat, tapering, hemming and length adjustments
- Shirt alterations and fitting
- General alterations for men’s and women’s everyday clothing
- Hemming, shortening, taking in and letting out garments
- Zipper replacements and other garment repairs
- Full stitching/construction of garments when required
- Accurately pin and mark garments during customer fittings
- Maintain a high standard of finishing and workmanship
- Complete alterations within required customer delivery timelines
- Work with our team to ensure garments are properly fitted before delivery

Requirements

- Previous professional tailoring experience is required




- Strong experience with men’s suits and formalwear is highly preferred
- Must understand garment construction, fitting and proportions
- Must be comfortable performing customer fittings
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and tailoring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and clean finishing
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple alteration jobs
- Reliable and able to meet deadlines

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and understands that a great alteration is not just about sewing — it is about achieving the right fit, balance and finish.
