Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Red Seal Electrician to join our electrical team on a full time basis. You will involve din both service and projects including new construction, renovations, tenant improvements, and service/maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code and Nova Scotia regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Perform rough-in, trim-out, troubleshooting, and service work
- Collaborate with other trades and project supervisors on multi-trade sites
- Maintain accurate job documentation and material tracking
- Uphold company safety standards and participate in toolbox talks / JHAs
- Mentor apprentices when required

Requirements

- Valid Red Seal Electrician certification (or equivalent interprovincial Red Seal)
- Current Nova Scotia electrical license / journeyperson status
- Strong working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
- Experience in commercial, institutional, and/or residential construction preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Strong safety mindset and willingness to follow site-specific protocols




- Physically fit and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions

Assets

- Experience with commercial service, panel upgrades, or lighting retrofits
- First Aid / CPR certification
- WHMIS, fall protection, and other relevant safety tickets
- Ability to work efficiently under standing-offer or multi-project environments
