We’re looking for an experienced Journeyman Powerline Technician to join our underground electrical team. This is a local Calgary-and-area position focused on underground distribution—not out-of-town camp or rotational work. You’ll work on meaningful projects close to home and return home every night.

What You’ll Do

- Perform underground electrical distribution work in new residential and multifamily developments
- Coordinate and carry out utility hold-offs, switching, isolation, grounding, and other required safe-work procedures
- Complete primary and secondary cable pulls, including setup, rigging, pulling, and placement
- Terminate, splice, test, and troubleshoot underground cable and associated equipment
- Install and connect transformers, switchgear, pedestals, vaults, and related distribution components
- Street lighting
- Other duties as required by management team.

What You Bring

- Alberta Journeyman Powerline Technician certification or recognized equivalent
- Hands-on experience with underground electrical distribution systems




- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment
- Valid driver’s licence, clean driving abstract, and reliable transportation
- Current CSTS-20 and WHMIS 2015; First Aid, Ground Disturbance, and additional utility-specific training are assets.
