Evening Commercial Cleaner – Part-Time

Langley & Surrey, BC | Multiple Positions Available | Starting at $20/hour

We are hiring reliable, detail-oriented commercial cleaners for part-time evening custodial positions at professional office buildings in Langley and Surrey.

Current locations include:

- Willowbrook Professional Centre – 6351 197 Street, Langley, BC
- 5577 153A Street, Surrey, BC

A minimum of two positions are currently available.

Schedule & Compensation

- Nightly evening work, 7 days per week
- Shifts are completed between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM
- Maximum 4 hours per shift
- Up to 28 hours per week
- Starting wage: $20.00 per hour
- Part-time, ongoing positions
- Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize washrooms and replenish supplies
- Vacuum carpets and clean hard-surface flooring
- Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and common areas
- Clean glass entry doors and other glass surfaces
- Empty garbage and maintain clean, presentable work areas
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces
- Complete scheduled detailed and periodic cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of entrances and designated common areas
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs
- Identify and promptly report maintenance concerns, damage, safety hazards, or equipment issues
- Safely handle and store cleaning products and equipment




- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols

Requirements

- 1–2 years of commercial custodial or cleaning experience preferred
- Previous experience cleaning professional offices is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and trustworthy
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills in English
- Knowledge of secure handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Physically capable of completing an active cleaning shift, including stairs and light lifting
- Must be bondable and able to pass a criminal record/background check
- Reliable transportation to the assigned work location is required
