Position: Central Operations Specialist
Type: Fulltime Permanent
Compensation: $25.00 to $32.00 / hr. Depends on Experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: ANY CANADIAN VELOCITY BRANCH

The Central Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing and optimising the flow of parts within an organisation, collaborating closely with various internal departments. This role will support various locations throughout the organisation.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Monitor and review accounting schedules to provide training and quality assurance within parts accounting processes
- Support Parts Managers with payroll time edits in Dayforce and Procede
- Develop processes and policies to continuously improve the parts department operations
- Contribute to strategic projects within the parts department
- Promote successful customer experiences by managing both internal and external communications
- Oversee daily orders, open POs, backorder items, and open invoices
- Assist AP in Processing POs and invoices in OnPhase for Vendor payments
- Review suspended invoice process
- Manage the parts return process for damaged or incorrect parts
- Follow up on discrepancies in rebate process




- Perform other related duties as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience as a billing clerk or basic accounting knowledge preferred
- Proficient in remote working tools (Zoom, file sharing, etc)
- Solid organizational and problem solving skills
- Inventory control experience an asset
- Heavy duty truck parts experience an asset
- Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or similar program
