Job Summary

We have immediate vacancy for a motivated and reliable Courier Van Driver to join our logistics team based out of MISSISSAUGA. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and packages to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. Your positive judgement and attention to detail will help us deliver a seamless experience for our clients and support the smooth operation of our distribution network.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a van/light truck/automobile to deliver packages and goods across designated routes.
- Sort packages, load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of all items.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records throughout your shift.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and ensuring deliveries meet client expectations.




- Follow all safety protocols, including lifting techniques and warehouse procedures, to prevent accidents or damage.

Requirements

- Valid driver’s license (ON Class G), Driver's abstract, criminal record check
- Minimum age 25 for commercial insurance coverage
- Mimium 1 year experience in commercial driving, with a strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Flexible hours for shift start / end
- Ability to perform lifting and manual handling of packages safely.
- Proficient communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and adhere to delivery schedules under tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina for moving/lifting items, standing or walking for extended periods.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
