Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part-Time French Teacher to join our vibrant Montessori preschool community. In this role, you will inspire young learners to develop their language skills in French through engaging, child-centered activities rooted in Montessori principles. Duties

- Plan and deliver dynamic French language lessons tailored to preschool-aged children within a Montessori framework
- Create an immersive bilingual environment that encourages natural language acquisition and cultural appreciation
- Use age-appropriate teaching methods, including hands-on activities, storytelling, songs, and games to promote active learning
- Support children's social-emotional development by fostering respectful communication and positive interactions in French
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate language learning into daily routines and classroom activities
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation in accordance with educational standards
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's language development and classroom experiences





Qualifications

- Fluency in both English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of Montessori teaching methods and philosophy is highly desirable
- Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or support for disabilities
- Childcare experience combined with excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire young learners
- Proficiency in using computers for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication purposes

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
