We are currently seeking Intervention Facilitator positions for the Direct Your Life programs.

ROLE: INTERVENTION FACILITATOR
Description
The Intervention Facilitator is responsible for delivering Direct Your Life programming within assigned correctional institutions, youth facilities, and community settings. This role facilitates GAME workshops, supports participant development, and provides one-on-one intervention and mentoring services to participants.
The Intervention Facilitator works closely with the Mentorship & Reintegration Coordinator and Journey Support Coach to ensure participants receive consistent and culturally responsive support.
Key Responsibilities
Program Facilitation
- Deliver GAME curriculum and related workshops within assigned institutions and community locations.
- Facilitate structured group discussions and interactive learning activities.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
One-on-One Participant Support
- Conduct one-on-one mentoring and intervention sessions with assigned participants.
- Support participant goal-setting and personal development.
- Assist participants in accessing resources and referrals.
Institutional Coordination
- Maintain skilled working relationships with institutional staff and community partners.
- Follow all institutional policies, security protocols, and reporting requirements.
- Communicate participant needs and program updates to the Mentoring Program Lead.
Documentation & Reporting
- Complete participant attendance records, case notes, and progress reports.
- Contribute to program evaluation and outcome tracking.
- Report participant concerns, risks, and successes in a timely manner.
Team Collaboration
- Participate in team meetings, training, and case consultations.
- Collaborate with Journey Support Coaches, Peer Mentors, and guest speakers.
- Support continuous improvement of program delivery.
Skills & Qualifications
- Assessing participant needs and developing tailored intervention plans.
- Leading group sessions and workshops focused on personal development, conflict resolution, and behavioral change.
- Tracking participant progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
- Collaborating with community partners, educators, and justice system stakeholders.
- Providing one-on-one coaching and mentorship.
- Demonstrating commitment to the values, goals, and mission of DYL.
- Submit a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
