Job Summary

We are seeking a robust leader and detail-oriented Grounds Crew Supervisor to lead and oversee the maintenance and beautification of outdoor lawn care and snow removal contracts. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate a team responsible for our daily mowing routes and horticultural tasks. Your leadership will ensure that all grounds are maintained to the highest standards, creating inviting and sustainable environments. This position can lead to full time winter work as well for the right candidate.

Duties

- Supervise daily operations of the grounds crew, providing clear direction and support to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to uphold aesthetic standards
- Safely operate our truck and trailer
- Oversee small engine repairs and maintenance
- Train team members in proper horticultural techniques, equipment use, and landscape maintenance best practices
- Collaborate with management on project planning, including new landscape

Experience





- Proven supervising experience leading a grounds crew or landscaping team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening practices, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance techniques
- Construction experience is highly desirable for overseeing installation projects or site improvements
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation
