Structural Steel Fabricator – Stairs & Railings

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator with proven experience in the fabrication of stairs and railings to join our team at our Burlington shop.

Essential Skills & Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience fabricating structural steel stairs and railings.
- Minimum 2 years of carbon steel welding experience.
- CWB certification required.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in the use of ironworkers, band saws, oxy-acetylene torches, grinders, and various shop and hand tools.
- Ability to work efficiently and safely in a busy shop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Additional Skills & Assets

- Forklift and propane certification/training.
- Valid Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record. Driver's abstract required.
- Experience with structural steel fabrication and installation is an asset.

Language Requirements

- Ability to speak, read, and write English.





Terms of Employment

- Permanent, full-time position.
- Standard 40-hour work week:
- Monday–Thursday
- 6:30 AM–4:30 PM Overtime paid after 40 hours when required based on production and project schedules.

Experience

- Fabrication of Stairs & Railings: 2 years (required)
- Welding: 2 years (required)
- Structural Steel Fabrication: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification

- CWB Certification (required)
- Class G Driver's Licence (preferred)

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
