Your Contribution

The Lead Manual Wheelchair Quality Control & Technician plays a key role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and high-quality repair, refurbishment, assembly, and setup of manual wheelchairs and related equipment. This position serves as the primary technical resource and quality control lead for the manual wheelchair side of the Service Department.

The successful candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience with manual wheelchair repair and a strong understanding of proper wheelchair setup, adjustment, function, safety, and manufacturer specifications. In addition to completing repairs and quality control inspections,



this position is responsible for providing technical guidance to other technicians and ensuring completed work meets ECO Medical Equipment's established standards before equipment is returned to service.

This position requires an individual who is confident in their technical knowledge and comfortable identifying deficiencies in workmanship, providing direct instruction to technicians, and requiring corrections when work does not meet established safety or quality standards. This is not a formal supervisory or people-management position. The successful candidate will report directly to the Service Manager and will act as the lead technical resource for manual wheelchair service.

Your Qualifications

· Computer skills including typing proficiency and MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

· Capable of maintaining a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.

· Mechanical and electronic aptitude.

· Knowledge of fasteners, metric and standard threads.

· Strong troubleshooting skills.

· Time management capabilities and flexibility.

· The ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods, work in a noisy shop environment, and lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.

· Minimum two years of industry experience.





· Product knowledge is considered a must.
