Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Food Processing Sanitation Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of food processing areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This position is essential in supporting the production process by creating a safe, hygienic environment that meets industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have some custodial or commercial cleaning experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to food safety.

Duties

- Perform thorough cleaning of food processing equipment, machinery, and work surfaces to prevent contamination.
- Follow established sanitation protocols to ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Assist in the disassembly and reassembly of equipment for cleaning purposes.
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, including proper disposal of waste and sanitizing containers.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and tools safely and effectively.
- Document cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.




- Support the team in adhering to food safety regulations by maintaining a clean working environment at all times.

Experience

- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures in a food processing or industrial setting is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and sanitation protocols accurately.
- Solid attention to detail to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
