Role Summary

Payless Cannabis is seeking applicants for the role of Retail Supervisor. The Retail Supervisor should be compassionate, responsible, and well-educated about cannabis. We are looking for individuals who can engage positively with their community, deliver excellent customer service, and hold high standards for themselves and their fellow employees. The successful candidate will be willing to take on leadership responsibilities and help wherever needed to ensure the success of their location.

We offer opportunities for growth, with many of our retail store associates progressing into management-level positions within a year. We are looking for individuals who are motivated to grow with the company and take the next step in their careers.

Responsibilities

- Lead and support the Budtender team, ensuring exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members on cannabis products, customer service, safety procedures, and store operations.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, transactions, cleanliness, and security.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with receiving and restocking products, and help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure all sales and customer interactions comply with applicable cannabis laws, regulations, and company policies,



including age verification and required documentation.
- Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues to maintain a positive customer experience.
- Support the Regional Manager with sales, inventory, audits, and staff performance reporting.
- Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work workplace while supporting the overall success of the store.
- Fulfill and deliver customer orders

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education or relevant certifications are preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a dispensary or similar retail environment, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, consumption methods, and effects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and adapt to changing demands.
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- A valid driver's licence for delivery, as well as valid car insurance and a reliable vehicle.
- Knowledge of applicable cannabis regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
