Job Summary

Day & Knight Services is looking for an experienced Truck Dispatcher to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

- Book and negotiate loads with brokers
- Plan and manage driver schedules and routes
- Monitor trucks and provide regular updates
- Coordinate pickups, deliveries and appointments
- Handle BOL, POD, customs and load documentation
- Communicate with drivers, brokers and customers
- Handle delays, breakdowns and operational issues
- Maintain accurate dispatch and load records

Requirements:

- Trucking/dispatch experience preferred
- Knowledge of Dry Van, Reefer & Flatbed operations
- Experience with load boards and broker communication
- Knowledge of HOS, ELD and cross-border operations is an asset
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Must be reliable, organized and available for a fast-paced environment
